With Flender, setral® has one of the world’s leading companies for transmission and drive technology at its side. Their approval of the new SYN-setral-GEAR N series until mid-2026 enables a wide range of applications for our setral® products in gearboxes in a wide variety of industries. Various viscosities of the synthetic PAO base oil (available in ISO VG 150, 220, 320, 460, 680) combined with optimal and modern additives result in a new series of gear oils, which extend the already comprehensive range of setral® gear oils. The right choice of oil can have decisive influence on the service life time of a gearbox. Compared to our competitors, the SYN-setral-GEAR N series is characterized by better EP behavior as well as better RVT values, which results in extended changing intervals and thus, energy and cost savings.
